PRINCE GEORGE'S SUMMER TEEN THEATRE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
2012 marks PGSTT’s 45th year producing community musical theater in Prince George’s County. However, unless we raise $8,000 by March 1, there will be no show this summer.
PGSTT has been hit very hard by the recent economic downturn, as have so many arts organizations. The Board of Directors is working on ways to cut expenses, but that, alone, will not be enough. It costs several thousand dollars just to license the rights to perform most musicals.
If we don’t find a way to raise funds, we will be forced to cancel the summer production for the first time in 45 years.
Please don’t let that happen! Join us in working to keep PGSTT alive and growing.
Even though we are facing this difficult financial situation, we are hopeful that PGSTT will not only survive, but thrive. We are moving forward with several ideas for invigorating our program, including producing an original play in the spring. Your contribution and support will go a long way toward bringing those ideas to life.
Your tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $100, or any amount you can give will help us continue to offer area teenagers a summer experience full of excitement, friendship, and learning.
Please use the PayPal donate button in the top left corner of this page; or send a check to PGSTT, 12407 Starlight Ln., Bowie, MD 20715.
You can contact us by clicking on our contact tab at the top of the page, or by emailing us at pgstt@hotmail.com to learn about other ways you can help.
And please send the link to this letter to anyone you know who enjoys theater.
Thank you
